While our future depends on them and we as parents, become pretty much instantly devoted, it never ceases to amaze that we do this with out the benefit of experience based common sense training. Avoid junk oils/ spreads
These are often referred to as trans fatty acids, or trans fats, or hydrogenated oils. British newspaper The Guardian recently reported that eating as little as 25gms of these indigestible oils was equivalent to consuming 250gms of butter. That is like a death warrant. Trans fats have been banned in Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, California, New York and Philadelphia. Don't wait; just ban them yourself.
Mens Health
Few men are aware that our environment is heavily polluted with chemicals that mimic estrogen female hormone). Some of the worst called BPA exen- oestrogen / pseud-estrogen (and there are thousands) are excreted from plastic. The next worst source of estrogen pollution comes from un-fermented soya which is now included in nearly all foods and ingredients that are manufactured.
